The guarantee is issued directly by P. Moody Building Contracts. It records the covered work area, the period of protection and the conditions that apply. This gives you clear documentation to retain with your property records.
Before any work begins, your quotation will explain the recommended treatment. We will also confirm whether the proposed work qualifies for our guarantee, so you can make an informed decision.

How the Guarantee Works
1. Survey and diagnosis
We inspect the property, identify the likely cause and explain the recommended remedial work.
2. Written quotation
Your quotation sets out the proposed work and confirms which elements qualify for the 20-year guarantee.
3. Work completed
Our team carries out the agreed work using the specified methods and materials.
4. Guarantee documentation
Following completion and payment, the written guarantee identifies the covered work area and is issued for you to keep with your property records.
5. Aftercare if required
If you believe there is an issue with covered work during the guarantee period, contact P. Moody with your documentation. We will assess the concern and deal with a covered defect in accordance with the guarantee terms.
Important Information
- The guarantee applies only to the qualifying work and covered work area identified in the written documentation.
- It does not automatically cover unrelated defects, later damage or work completed by another contractor.
- Property maintenance, ventilation, plumbing leaks, alterations and other conditions outside the treated area may affect the building.
